Connections

We are part of the family of churches known as the Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec (CBOQ). Click here to link to the CBOQ website.

Locally we are associated with Toronto Baptist Ministries (formerly the Toronto Area Association of Baptist Churches). 

At the national level we are associated with Canadian Baptist Ministries . 

Beliefs

We affirm the following:

1. The sovereignty, love, and grace of God, the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit, in creation, providence, revelation, redemption and final judgment.
2. The divine inspiration of Holy Scripture and its entire trustworthiness and supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
3. The value of each human being as created by God.  The universal sinfulness of humankind since the fall, which alienates all from God and subjects all to condemnation.
4. The full deity and humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God, whose substitutionary sacrifice is the sole ground of redemption from the guilt, penalty and power of sin.
5. The justification of the sinner by the grace of God through faith alone in Christ crucified and risen from the dead.
6. The illuminating, regenerating, indwelling and sanctifying work of God, the Holy Spirit, in the believer.
7. The church as set forth in the New Testament and understood historically by the Baptist community.
8. The expectation of the personal, visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ, our participation in the resurrection, and the hope of eternal life.

Staff  

We are currently without a SENIOR PASTOR but are  relying on guest preachers. ............................................................................ 

 Frederick Harrison has been responsible for the church bulletin since July 2014 as well as the church website. 

Frederick is a writer of hymn texts, one of which was awarded "Honourable Mention" in a hymn writing contest sponsored by the Southern Ontario Chapter of the Hymn Society (SOCHS). In addition to being a member of the choir and worship team, he has written a variety of prayers and other spiritual writings. 

ACCESSIBILITY Please note: We are in the process of upgrading our building to include an elevator. We have a wheelchair accessible washroom on the lower level. Currently, all three levels of the building are wheelchair accessible from outside the building; one must exit the building and re-enter through another doorway in order to move to another level. Wheelchairs are available upon request for use within the building.
